Any maintainers around? I'm happy to help out (https://github.com/Perlkonig). I'm looking at writing a Word plugin. Just wondering if the standard is dead, superseded, or just abandoned.

Hi Aaron. We’re still around but this project is fairly static now. The specification remains the same and I don’t see any future additions for awhile. That’s good news if you want to make a Word plugin, which I encourage if it provide you value. If you create a plugin, let us know and we’ll link to it from the Critic tools page.

    Thanks for offering.

Good to hear. I just saw unresolved issues and pull requests on GitHub.
The only reason I'd create a Word plugin is that professional editors
are most comfortable with that tool. But sometimes we have clients that
need work done on plain text files. A simple way to convert tracked
changes to and from CM could be helpful. I might also look at how to
    incorporate CM into `pandoc`.

It's on my project list, anyway. Will take some time.
